LISSIE ALLSOPP

About me
I began my professional journey by treading the boards of the theatre world and singing on some of London's most exciting stages, including The Royal Opera House, The Royal Albert Hall and the O2 Arena. Whilst working as a performer I undertook classical vocal training at The Associated Studios in London, and then went on to gain a 1st Class BA. Hons in Drama, Applied Theatre & Education from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
I now travels across the UK delivering a thrilling repertoire of music, specialising in all things vintage; from the glitzy and glamorous roaring 20s to the stirring patriotism and swinging dance hall melodies of the 1930s & 40s, through to the big band hits and crooner classics of the 1950s.
Some of my recent career highlights include performances at The Goodwood Revival, Highclere Castle, Bletchley Park, Shuttleworth, Wrest Park, Croome & The Battle of Britain Bunker.
In my spare time I love to travel, read, take walks in the woods and spend time with my wonderful family & friends (and their dogs!). I also love films and TV, and really enjoy sinking my teeth into a new documentary or TV series. When it comes to films, I have real soft spot for Disney, Pixar and Studio Ghibli! I am also a huge geek and I love all things nerdy, from The Lord of the Rings to Star Wars and everything inbetween!
